On Sunday, Laetare, after Mass. at. 12.00, March 27, 2022 in the basilica, you could listen to the concert of passion songs "Zawitaj Ukrzyżowany" performed by Choir of the Licheń Basilica "Stabat Mater".
The ensemble under the direction of Jacek Hyżny performed Lenten songs, prepared, among others, by Andrzej Nikodemowicz born in Lviv.
In this way, the choristers expressed their solidarity with the inhabitants of Ukraine who were experiencing difficult times. One of the pieces performed during the concert was "Prayer for Peace" by Norbert Blacha (text by Mirosława Hanusiewicz). During the concert, a fundraiser was also carried out for the needs of children evacuated from hospices in war-torn Ukraine.

Frightened children found a safe haven in the Lublin hospice. Together with their families, they were accommodated in a hospice hostel, in rooms equipped with specialized medical equipment. The facility not only provides free 24-hour food, clothing, beauty and care products, cleaning products, plastic materials and toys, but also medicines, medical care, psychological, pedagogical and social support.
