SANKTUARIUM MATKI BOŻEJ LICHEŃSKIEJ BOLESNEJ KRÓLOWEJ POLSKI

Rekolekcje „Eucharystia studnia bez dna i przepis na życie”, 5-7 marca 2021.

“The time of retreat is an invitation to look at yourself, your presence in the light of the Eucharist, which is the source of our life. It is entering into a personal relationship with Christ, who is the Way that leads us to the Father "- said Fr. Adam Stankiewicz, MIC, vice-custodian of the Lichen sanctuary during the retreat "Eucharist - a bottomless well and a recipe for life".

The retreat on the Eucharist is divided into two parts. The subject of the conference of the first part, which took place on March 5-7, focuses on presenting the individual parts of the Holy Mass. This is to encourage people to become aware of the course of the Eucharist, but most of all to engage in a personal encounter with God through active participation in the Holy Mass.

The Eucharist is "the source and summit of the whole Christian life". "Other sacraments, like all ecclesial ministries and works of the apostolate, are related to and aim for the Holy Eucharist. For the Holy Eucharist contains all the spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself. , our Passover

Urszula came to the Licheń sanctuary many times with young children. This time, she participated in the retreat for the first time. Thanks to the three-day meetings, she became aware of the exceptional presence of Our Lady during the Eucharist, which is an example for the faithful. She also drew attention to the fact that it is worth preparing for the Sunday liturgy of the word so that the readings of the mass would not be new. "Then you take the Word to your heart with greater awareness, and less content escapes," she said.

A deep spiritual experience during the retreat itself is not enough, as the name suggests, the Eucharist, a personal relationship with Christ, is to become a recipe for life. Joanna and Aleks from Milanówek, from the community of the Renewal in the Holy Spirit, made many pilgrimages to Our Lady of Lichen. According to the couple, the conferences prepared by the retreat priest brought closer the Eucharist and liturgy, but most of all they showed how important humility is when faced with God. - The retreat allowed us to discover that we have to look with our heart and be grateful that we have the opportunity to participate in the Eucharist and accept Christ to our hearts. In order to receive Him, we must put on humility. We recently stated that we should participate in the retreat once a month. We recommend it to everyone, it is a good opportunity to live your faith together with others, because not everyone has the opportunity to be formed in different communities.

The second part of the retreat "Eucharist - a bottomless well and a recipe for life", which is planned this year, is to lead the Christian into the space of contemplation of the Person of Jesus, who in the Sacrament of the Altar confirms love for each and every one of us.

In addition to retreats on the Eucharist, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Licheń conducts reflections in preparation for general confession, Marian retreats, for people in mourning, but also for families in crisis or addicts. Details are available on the website www.lichen.pl
