Jericho - geographically the lowest city in the world. The city where Zacchaeus lives. Zacchaeus' great desire was to see Jesus, and because he was small he had to climb a sycamore tree to do so.

Jesus enters Jericho, to this lowest point, not only in a geographical sense. Jesus descends to the lowest places also in a spiritual sense. In the same city, Jesus heals a blind man, and then brings Zacchaeus out of the darkness and heals his heart that is closed to people.

Dziś na świecie jest dużo miast pełnych ludzi, których serca chorują podobnie jak serce Zacheusza. Nie brakuje ich także w naszych domach rodzinnych  i wspólnotach. W każdym z nas jest coś z Zacheusza. Cierpimy z powodu odrzucenia za własne złe czyny. Każdego dnia z utęsknieniem wyglądamy Kogoś, kto spojrzy na nas z miłością, uporządkuje nasze pogmatwane życie i nada mu nowy sens. Tak jak Zacheusz potrzebujemy ocalenia z ciemności  i wyzwolenia od grzechów, które dać może tylko Jezus. Jedynie On potrafi zamienić nasze rany w perły, ze śmierci wydobyć do życia, napełnić serca nadzieją oraz rozpalić miłość tam, gdzie jej brak.

This retreat is an invitation to meet Jesus in a personal life story from the perspective of the story of Zacchaeus. It is a chance to fulfill great desires in the light of God's Word in your life.

Retreats are conferences and considerations based on the indicated fragments of the Holy Scriptures. It is also an opportunity for daily Eucharist, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and self-prayer.
